Our child resistant stand up pouches help make the package harder for children to open while keeping the product fresh and protected. Want something with more shelf presence? Custom holographic Mylar CR packaging gives you another finish option without giving up the CR pouch format. For U.S. applications, packaging can be developed to meet applicable 16 CFR Part 1700, including §§1700.15 and 1700.20, along with ASTM D3475 requirements for child-resistant packaging.
Not every product needs the same film structure. Moisture, oxygen, light and aroma can all affect the product over time, so we start with what you're packing and how it needs to perform. Available Mylar pouches can use Kraft paper, post-consumer recycled materials, recycled films, BoPET or PP, with different barrier options and multilayer structures. If your customers need to open and close the package more than once, resealable Mylar bags are another option worth considering.
A standard matte pouch can still feel like plastic. Soft-touch film feels different right away—smooth, slightly velvety and easier to grip, with less visible fingerprints. That's useful when the pouch is sitting on a retail shelf and the packaging is part of the brand experience. Your custom packaging can also be finished with gravure printing, spot UV or hot foil stamping. The print is made to handle normal warehouse handling and shipping without easily scuffing or rubbing off.
Printing note: Large areas of highly saturated fluorescent color aren't recommended for soft-touch film. Too much ink can slightly change the feel of the surface. We can check the artwork and test the finish during sampling before a full production run.

For best results, please consider product expansion, powder settling, or irregular shapes when selecting size. Stand-up pouches usually require a wider bottom gusset, while flat bags need more precise height control for retail presentation.
